Question: How many tickets should I sell?
Answer: Many dancers have sold over 100 tickets! Start with small goals: 30, then 60, then 90 and so on!
Question: How should I hand in my ticket sales?
Answer: Organization is the key to success! Please package your ticket sales by sheet or group with payment into individual envelopes. Bring ticket sales and payment to the Eau Claire Children's Theater at your convenience.
Question: Do I need to show up to all group rehearsals?
Answer: Yes. They are mandatory.
Question: Where are my tickets now that I've registered?
Answer: Once ticket sales have closed and each dancer's sections have been defined, seats will be assigned to each registrant.
Question: I bought a ticket but can't attend. May I get a refund?
Answer: Tickets are non-refundable. If you purchased a ticket but cannot attend, you are responsible for finding someone to take your place.
Question: When is the event?
Answer: The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th
Question: Where is the event being held?
Answer: The event will be held at the Pablo Center at the Confluence, 128 Graham Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54701
Question: What impresses the judges?
Answer: Music selection, costume selection, playing to the audience.
Question: What do the judges want to see?
Answer: That you're having the time of your life on the dance floor! Smiling and having fun! Energy! Dynamics and stage presence! Your interaction as a dance couple!
Question: What are the rules?
Answer: No smoke or fog machines. Props aren't necessary, but if you choose to use them, you MUSt have a plan to stage manage your own props.
Question: What advice do we have for you?
Answer: Don't be intimidated by what you think other teams are doing. Make sure your dances are what you say they are. For example, if you say you're doing a samba, make sure you have samba steps/elements in it. the judges would rather see a team do a perfect dance than a lot of tricks and lifts.
